How Do I Fix a Leak?

I have a leaky sink and facet in two different rooms. Hubby is super busy. This seems fairly simple as I've seen him fix them before but not really sure what to do. He said something about it being a rubber seal that needs to be replaced. So, how do I fix the leak?

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Can't afford to hire anyone at this time. Got a book from the library and all is well. Thanks

You don't, R.. You call a plumber. You really do not want to DIY because you don't know what you are doing. Please call a plumber!

It depends on where it is leaking. If it is leaking from the spout, then the stem probably needs to be replaced. If you know the brand of the faucet, then you can go to the hardware store and ask for the kit to fix it.

You Tube has videos on how to repair things. Google the problem or talk to the hubby and have him give you steps to do it.
