My 5 year old daughter found a broken Ball-point pen with ink everywhere all over the pen and got it all over her hands and decided to go to her Pink wall in her room and put her hands all over the wall. I have been looking everywhere for a soulution but I Have found none. If somebody could tell me: How can I get Ball-point pen ink out of my wall with-out it smelling like something chemicals or funky?

Thank you,

Mother of 3, K. S,J

I also vote for the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. TRULY is magical. I have no idea how it cleans as well as it does.

I was going to suggest magic eraser or paint over it.

I used laundry stain spray (I used Zout) and a damp microfiber cloth to remove my two year old's pen art from my sofa. Might be worth a try.

ETA - Test an inconspicuous spot first in case the cloth removes paint or affects gloss.

Is the paint waterproof? If it's not, you'll just have to paint over it.

If it is...
Maybe try sunscreen? I've had great success smearing sunscreen on permanent markers, and then wiping it all off. Rubbing alcohol might do it, but depending on your paint, it might take that off, too. Ditto with nail polish remover. Toothpaste might work, too. Smear it on, scrub it off - just like brushing your teeth, and then wipe the rest with whatever you use as a spray-and-wipe (windex, kitchen cleaner, vinegar solution, whatever). Takes a little elbow grease, but at least the smell is minty, rather than chemical-ly.

Hairspray, if you have it. Be careful if you using a magic eraser- it will take the paint off the wall if you rub too hard.
