this may be crazy, but, is there a way for me to text my husband from my computer and receive messages back from him? i found abunch of sights where i can text him but not any where he can text me back???

You can easily email things to a phone. What comes after the @ depends on what carrier you have.
Verizon is *phonenumber*@vtext.com
Cricket is *phonenumber*@mms.mycricket.com
Just to give you an idea.
I email texts to my husband and other people pretty much daily. So it does work.
Almost any phone that can text can send an email. And once you get an email from his phone, you'll have the address to send a reply. My husband and I have been doing this for years.
ive texted pictures to my email account so i dont think it should be a problem-instead of a fone number u just put ____@____.com or whatever the account it with.. but iv never done it the other way around like from my computer to my phone.. just try typing the number in the part where ud normally put the email address
Have him send you a message from his phone to your email address. Then you will have an address to send any messages/texts to. Remember texts have a limit on how long they can be so keep them to one line and just send another message with the rest of what you wanted to say if one isn't long enough. I do this with my college daughter all the time. She has unlimited texts on her phone. I do not. She has a keyboard on her phone. I do not. So I love sending her texts via my email on my computer.
Yes there is I do it from work from my yahoo email. I think it's called an SMS. I just type in my hubby's number and text back and forth.
When he tries to return the message it might offer him a choice of where to return the message.
my husband sends me messages from his email address kinda the samething i guess. and i know my friend uses aim on her computer to text
