Hot Wing or Buffalo Chicken Recipes

My husband and I love the wings for football season. I have not successfully made any that are as good as the ones we get as appetizers when eating out. I really like the ones where the breading is crispy and the spice is already in it rather than soaking them in messy sauce.... however I love all of them. If anyone has some awesome recipes please share. If you know of some frozen ones even that are delicious I'll even go for that. Thanks in advance.

So What Happened?

Keep the recipes coming please but I'm definitely trying the buffalo dip recipe... just read some reviews on it and they are all fabulous so this sounds like an easy alternative to wings.

My dad, a Buffalo native, deep fries his wings then smothers them in Frank's Original hot sauce. He puts them in the oven (covered with a loose piece of foil) to keep them hot while he makes the whole batch; you can always add more sauce if they start to get too dry. They are the best wings we've ever had (outside those made at the original Anchor Bar in Buffalo, NY.) Not low-calorie, but they are DELICIOUS! Also, Frank's hot sauce really is the only way to go. Good luck and have fun! :)

This is a diabetic recipe, but I made it for Super Bowl this year and everyone (even non-diabetics) loved it.

My favorite with the messy sauce is made in a crock pot. You add wings or legs into the crockpot. Take your favorite buffalo sauce and mix it with an envelope of ranch dressing spice. Then pour it over the chicken. Cook on low 6-7 hours.

My mouth is watering at just the first few responses! I was going to suggest making the buffalo chicken dip...it is like so ridiculously good and tastes just like wings! It has hot sauce, cream cheese, chicken, etc. in it and you just put it in the crock and dip chips in it....just something a little different and still tasty! I'm sure you can google the recipe, but feel free to message me and I'll find it for you if you like...I know I have it somewhere!

As far as store bought wings...Hooters are my favorite! Just the regular spicy wing (which is not spicy at all really) dipped in blue cheese...yummy! You can order ahead and pick 'em up just in time for kickoff!

my sister makes an awesome buffalo dip, you'll love it. we like these wings. the blue cheese dip is great. i've changed it a little but don't recall how and didn't write it down. it's been a while since i've made them but use to all the time. with hockey starting soon, i'm sure my husband will request them again.
