My son is always hot. He has no fever but if you just touched his hand ir head you would swear he has fever. Its weird! Then again im always cold! Its normal around here!
Hmm here is a question for you.
My toddler seems to have a very "hot head". I mean, the rest of his body feels normal, but his head gets very hot, even when he is asleep, his head is hot to the touch, and the nape of his neck sometimes drenched in sweat - his body.. well, feels quite normal.. ..weird!
Any idea of what this means?
someone on google said it could be anxiety... but what anxiety does a toddler have? some say the head gets a rush of blood.. what nonsense! ... or is it? I dont want to go into overdrive thinking about this now.. but I have been curious.. He is qute normal otherwise.. happy and playing.. but seems to vent his heat through his head.
on Google: In some adult cases they have been prescribed beta blockers (?) and returned to normal. Body would shiver but their face would "glow" hot to the touch. Strangest thing I have heard in a long time.

I don't know that it means anything really. I mean... in the wintertime they say to wear a hat to get the most benefits to bundling up. Why? Because we lose most of our body heat through our head (and our feet). I think it sounds fairly normal.
My oldest son was like that, and my nephew is like that. especially when sleeping. Doctors weren't concerned.
huh, my son does the same. .. . I wonder.
My toddler is like this as well. He actually has a normal body temp of closer to 99.5 most of the time. Ped says it is totally normal, healthy body temps for kids are between 97.3 to 100.4, mine just runs hot :)
My daughter does the same thing!!! Hands and feet are cold but head and neck are ALWAYS burning up, we freak and take her temp but it's normal my hubby wants me to ask the doctor at her next checkup.. I've looked it up and found nothing :(
Mine is 4 and has been that way his whole life. He will also run terrible high fevers for no reason - like 103 - but then be perfectly fine the next day.
