if his doctor office is not open then i would try a care now or take him to the er....
I think my 2 year old is coming down with an ear infection. 2 days ago, he was tugging on it, but never said anything. Tonight during his bath, he started screaming saying, "My ear!" He's got a little upper respiratory thing, probably a cold, that just started yesterday so I'm thinking it's quite likely that he does have an ear infection. I will try calling his dr. tomorrow morning when they open at 9, but I have a feeling that they won't be open. If that's the case, what should I do? Anyone know of a place in the Mansfield area that will be open on Christmas Eve (in the morning). We have family arriving right after lunch so I want to get this taken care of. I hate to just let it go and have him be miserable for Christmas. Any advice?

You got good advice from your other responses. I have removed mine.
Hi M.,
We use garlic oil from the health food store. Put a drop or two in his ear then coverit with a cotton ball. Do it for several days until it subsides. I believe WalMart carries "my littl ears" ( i think that is how it is). hope that helps!
Yes! CareNow is great. If the wait is too long at the one on Cooper, which is closer to you, try the one on Eastchase. We love the doctors at that one.
My hubby is a pediatric chiropractor and clears up ear infections without the use of Antibiotics. Let me know if you're interested, I think I can get him to go in the office today... :o)

I use Care Now on Cooper at Green Oaks. That staff is so nice and are also good with kids.
Use the web check-in and get on the list so that you don't have to sit in the office all morning. They will call you when they want you to head their way. Works GREAT!
Good luck and Merry Christmas!
I recommend the Urgent Care place in front of Target, they are awesome and I believe you will only pay an office visit price if you have insurance they accept.
