I had terrible acne as a teen, so bad in fact that I ended up taking acutane. I was lucky and didn't suffer any of the negative side effects! I would take her to the dermatologist and see what they recommend. Also, try changing shampoos. to this day i will break out on my back if i try a new shampoo. i have very sensitive skin and sounds like your daughter does too. also try hypo-alergenic laundry detergents (also a source of body acne). I discovered tea tree oil as a teen for my acne and LOVE LOVE LOVE the stuff! not only will it heal and clear the acne it helps prevent scars, and it is all natural!! it has a strong odor so i suggest applying at night then a shower in the am. cetaphil is also great and very gentle, i used it when my acne was at it's worst. sometimes the soaps we use just make it worse. cetaphil is gentle but cleans and moisterizes at the same time. which is very necessary. try all this and see a dermatologist. but see if the home remadies work first before trying meds. there are a lot of icky side effects (trust me I went thru this!) and having meds not work is frustrating for a teen. good luck and let her know that she is not the only one who has had this issue! I did and I am fine now, she will get thru this (and you will too!).
