What type of math are you doing? I'm an engineer and either could help or recommend some great sites...

We have used this site and found it to be very helpful: mathforum.org/dr.math

You can put in a particular question/problem and the "doctor" will solve it for you, by explaining the process of how to get to the answer. It also has sections for different types of Math. It has helped our daughter who is also in Middle School

I know libraries have online tutors (at least in the city of Anaheim). Call your local library to see if they offer online tutoring.

Our local library has a free tutoring program. You tell them what grade you're in, what subject you need help with and they connect you with a tutor in that area of expertise. Haven't used it yet, but sounds like a great idea in theory.
