Hi Does Any One Have Any Valentine Game Ideas?

How about Bingo--I'm sure you could print out some cards or make them with stickers. Let them put candy hearts to cover the spaces.

There are lots of ideas online for this. You can do "Stack The HEarts" Buy the big hearts & see who can stack the tallest.

Also, drop the valentine. Buy Valentine's candy corn & little valentine cups or buckets. Have each child stand on a chair & drop the candy in the cup. Set a timer. The one with the most in the cup wins.

You could do a coloring contest.

There is a Valentine's JINGO game. I bought mine at an Education store. This is a wonderful Bingo game.

I did a Fishing For Love game, you cut out some hearts using construction paper, put a paper clip on top, tie a string or thin twine to a Valentine pencil and attach a round magnet with a hole in the center to the other end. Write Prize 1 on 1/2 of them and Prize 2 on the other. They try to catch a heart and which ever one they catch, that's what prize they get. You can laminate the hearts so the paper clip doesn't fall off or the hearts don't get torn if you want to but if it's going to be a 1 time only game you don't need to. There is also the Guess how many game where you put Valentine M & M's in a jar and let them guess how many are in there. The child closest to the correct answer wins the jar of M & M's.
You can also do a relay race where they have to carry Valentine conversation hearts on a plastic spoon across the room dump into a small bucket and go back to line then the next child goes. Which ever team has the most hearts wins.
That's a few ideas, Good Luck aren't parties fun to coordinate!

From a former room mother-I made bean bags out of old rags,red buttons, rickrack & dried peas. My husband cut a heart out of wood big enough that the kids could throw the bean bags into the middle. They got a small piece of candy for even trying. It was a hit. I always tried to make the games from scraps and scatch. have fun

Have everyone be a secert Cupid. Get some pictures of the kids and have them dedorate their picture. have them come up with a funny riddles.
Or have the class split into boys and girls, you give the girls a name of a boy, have her draw her favorite picture and the boy do the same, you give them a girls name.

Just went to my son's Kindergarten valentine's party today, and the mom in charge had two cute games. For the first one, she had made red construction paper hearts that had been cut in two, kind of jagged cuts, like a puzzle. Each heart had a message on it...like the candy hearts ("Too Cute" or "Hug Me" or "Cutie Pie" or whatever you want). She passed out to each child one-half of a heart (each half had half of the words on it). Once all kids had their "half-heart," then it was time for the kids to find their matching half. It was fun as they tried to find the matching piece to their puzzle. Once they found their match, the two kids were to sit down and wait for the others to find theirs. Then she let each couple say what their heart said. Then she collected the hearts, shuffled them again, and the kids played it again, because they liked the game so much! Than she passed out pencils to each child. Then the kids sat down at their tables and decorated plain sugar cookies with icing and sprinkles and ate them with juice boxes.

For the last game, she had the kids pick a partner (the person sitting next to or across from them). Then they were to take candy hearts from a bowl on their table and work as a pair to stack the hearts into a tower. No one could start until she said go, and if their stacks fell, they just started over. After a minute she said stop, and whoever had the tallest tower won a prize. Then they played that game again, and another prize was given.

Then the kids cleaned up their table areas and the party was over! It was just a 30-minute party, but it was very fun. Hope this helps. I think first graders would like these games, too. Good luck. I admire mothers who volunteer to do class parties (so that I don't have to come up with the ideas!)

One I've used & the kids have enjoyed is - you give each child a small bathroom/kitchen drinking cup, a straw & 15 (or however many you want) pieces of small holiday candy (ex: m&ms, red hots or sweettart hearts, etc) they have to suck the piece of candy to the straw & deposit it into the cup. You can either set a time limit & whoever has the most in wins or you can do it where the first one done wins.

You can also have them take a piece of paper and fold it in half behind their backs & see who can tear out a heart. (simple & fast, can be funny as long nobody gets their feelings hurt)
