Herbal, Natural Teething Tablets

I used Hyland's Homeopathic teething tablets for both of my children. The disso;ve instantly and are 100% natural with no side effects. Im not sure if thats what you are using or not. I did not see anything wrong with using them. Sometimes if they were in a lot of paing i noticed it would relax them after a bit because the pain isnt so bad and then they could sleep better.

If you read the ingrdients, it can be confusing and overwhelming. From Caffeine to Bella Donna, there is a lot in there. That said, TRSUT ME when I say that your child will be much happier after you give them to her. I don't know "how" it all works together, but I gave them to my daughter when she was a baby and I am still using them in my son (he is 9 months). They make a HUGE difference. He will go from being cranky and fussy and biting at everything, to my happy little boy who is carefree and fun loving!
For your original question - I don't know if they are caffeine free, but I have never seen them interfere with sleep. In fact, my son is able to settle down and go to sleep better after having them because he is more comfortable. Hope this helped!

We actually used a liquid tincture homeopathic from Whole Foods (now available at PCC as well) called Camomilia. It comes in 30 single dose vials and works fabulously.

My DD is allergic to artifical colors and sweetners so we still use it for a pain reliver and she's 3.

I agree with Alexia. These are WONDERFUL! I don't like the idea of giving Tylenol to my son for teething pain...unless he has a fever too. For some reason, these seem to do the trick! In fact, I gave a few to my son tonight because he's cutting his first teeth and he's been a little crazy monkey ALL NIGHT! So I know they alleviate the pain! The coffee seeds are a strange ingredient so I did some reasearch on teething tablets before giving them to him. I don't know how it works because the seeds DO have caffeine. I read that people take Coffea Cruda (coffee seeds) to help them relax. I also read that people that consume a lot of caffeine also take this to relax...almost like 2 negatives equal a positive in that case, huh? Since I'm not sure why the Coffea Cruda works, I guess I won't question it! I do highly recommend teething tablets though!

I used these for my two year old when she was younger and they worked wonders for her! I have tried them a couple times with my 5 month old and they don't work as well with her........and in response to your other delima, I am in your same exact spot! My baby won't take anything more than a cat nap here and there during the day and wakes through the night, we have our good nights here and there, but for the most part she wants to eat all the time.....she is exactally the same as your little one and off the charts on her height and weight....I am taking her in for her 6 month check up in three weeks....I will keep you post on the advice I get! I would highly reccomend NOT using these. They contain an herb called belladonna in them. Do some research on this herb...it is nicknamed "the nightshade". It makes children so tired sometimes that they go into a coma and never wake up. Do your research before giving these to any child! :)

I used Hylands Teething Tablets and they worked the best.

The amount of belladonna in these tablets is a very, very, small percentage. Unless you give your child way more than the recommended dosage, the tablets are completely safe and contain no side effects. Unlike tylenol, which can damage the liver. I wouldn't write these tablets off. They are the only things that helped my son with teething pain, and he loves them. Just remember that almost anything can be dangerous in excess. These tablets are safe for your child, as long as you follow the recommended dosage. Hope this helps.

If the product is a homeopathic remedy, herbs like belladona, chammomila, etc have been diluted beyond Avogadro's number of molecular weight. In other words it contains only the energetic picture of the herb and is very safe to use and will not react to other medications. Homeopathic remedies can be antidoted with strong smelling essential oils like camphor or eucalyptus.

I used them on my 2 year old from the time she was 4 months old. I am very wary of what I give her and the ingredients scared me but I researched them and in very small doses all are okay. Even so, I would only give her half a dose and that usually worked. And she never fussed when I gave them to her like she does for infant tylenol-yuck! I even took a few myself when I had a small headache and was nursing, we love them!!
