The Best is Dr. Wayne Cohen and all of his associates are great too!! I've been going since I was just a teenager and last year he came in after I he had just gone home from an overnight on his day off to deleiver my baby even I was in the hands of his wonderful associate Dr. Garner, just because we had discussed that I was most comfortable with him. He gives you that Dr. Hucstabile from the Cosby show feeling. I'm telling they are wonderful. The office os on Beeridge called Associates in Gynocology big colorful building very well known and respected all over Sarasota and Bradenton. Other dr. in practive or Sullivan and Garner also great but Cohen even better!!! Good Luck office number ###-###-####

Hi, I also go to First Physicians Group and see Dr. Ruth Dyal. SHE IS GREAT! She came very highly recommended by my Pediatrician. I have also heard from other Momma pals that the other doctors at First Physician's Group are great too.

Hi G.,
I also go to First Physician's Group in Sarasota, but I see Dr. Hoertz. He is an AWESOME doctor. I have gone to him for the past 16 years and he has delivered all of my boys.

Hi,

Dr Amy Martin is part of the group with Easterling, Corcoran, Doyle-Vallery etc. If you go to her, you go to the group, i.e. you meet with each doctor in the practice during your pregnancy. You do not generally choose who will be at the birth - if there are no complications, one of their midwives will be at the birth and none of the doctors.

I met with Dr Martin once and she seemed young, refreshingly available and she took her time with questions etc. I liked her. But because of the group situation, I never met her again.

In my experience using their office, it's much more important to get to know their midwives (there are three on staff), because they will be the ones attending you. I had my favorite midwife at the hospital during the first part of labor, but then their work shift changed, and for the birth I had my least favorite midwife.

FWIW I do not plan to go there again if I get pregnant again. I think I would prefer the focus of a smaller midwife practice.

I go to the first physicains group that is right across from the Sarasota hospital. I see Dr. Schroder (male) but there is 1 or 2 ladies in the practice too. The nurses and desk staff are very friendly. Good luck.
