HELP! Need Daycare in Downtown Chicago or Northside Edgewater Area

My 3 kids have all attended the Cook County/City of Chicago Child Development Center at 69 W. Washington since they were babies. My oldest isn't there anymore as he's in kindergarten now, but my twin toddlers are still there. It's primarily for employees of the city and county, but they take community members as well and you shouldn't have any trouble at all getting space for a preschooler, usually no wait lists and especially now as kids are starting school and leaving the center. I agree with the other mom that the Kindercare on State is really nice. You shouldn't have a problem getting your child enrolled if she is 3. No wait lists for that class. They have a very pleasant staff and they are very very clean.

My 3 year old son started at Kindercare South Loop about a year ago he has blossomed so much! He now has moed up to the 4 year old class early.. thanks to kindercare. I am very upset because I have just bought a house on the north side and work now on the north side so the school is too far for me to travel... I am trying to find a school comparable to it on the north side and for the education, love, and price.. it can't be beat. It is 200/week, from 6-630pm, monday - friday. That it full-time.
