I vote for Lila Belle. Congratulations. Naming our third daughter was so hard. I thought we'd never find a name that fit our family. We chose Lynaea Jane .
Hello Mamas~
Our 3rd girl is due July 1st and we've always had no problems naming the babies, but this time we are stumped and I wanted to reach out to other moms for some input on what name you like best out of the list we've narrowed it down to. You should know that our first two girls have double names that we, other family, friends, and teachers use and we'd like to keep that tradition (Maddie Mae, short for Madeline Mae and Ellie Jo, short for Elizabeth Josephine). So, here's what we've come up with... tell me what you think and maybe why...
Bobbie Sue (short for Barbara)
Lila Belle (short of Delilah)
Lexie Lu (short for Alexandra LuAnne)
Thanks for the help!

Ahhhh!!!! I hadn't thought about Lexie Belle!!! Well, I appreciate all your feedback. My husband had never heard the name Belle and I think he thought I made it up! At least now he can see that other people like it too! I'm leaning toward Lila and I think he still likes Lexie... Lexie Belle would be a nice compromise. You all are wonderful, thank you so much.
And for the record, when I post requests (11 so far) and when I reply to requested (over 200 so far), I do so genuinely. I have no ulterior motives when posting or replying to requests. The fact that I am an author is just "a little about me." Would I like people to read my book? Yes, but my intentions on this site are authentic and I truly enjoy this community. Implications otherwise are unnecessary. Thanks for everything Mamas!

I really like the Lila Belle name. It seems sweet with a little old fashion to it. I think it goes with the other girl names as well. Good luck! =)
What about Lexi Belle?
Lila Belle is really nice too, but the name "Lila" is a HUGE naming trend of the past year - but if you are okay with the first name being a little more popular, go for Lila!
I had two friends name their little girls Lila and Lylah this past year, along with a couple of Lilly's in their too.
Lila Belle is beautiful.
Hi A.,
Congratulations on your new baby coming! I love all of the names you listed, but my favorite is Lexie Lu. I think it is beautiful and has a really nice, cheerful sound to it. Good luck with your baby naming!~

I like Lexie Belle (although I know that's not really one of the choices! =) Lexie is a cute and fun name, and if she grows up to be a Supreme Court Justice or something, she can call herself Alexandra, which is a classic and lovely name. I don't know if Belle is short for Isabelle, but that's my second child's name, and I love it! (I wanted to call my daughter Belle, but she is such a tomboy that she refused it, and now everyone calls her "Bee" - oh well! =) Congrats on your expanding family!

I think you have already decided and just want us to read your book "Kichen Table Play and Learn".....Got it!
