What did they test for / what are the results? Don't know if this was ruled out, but It could be the coughing is from reflux and the vomiting is from overfeeding becuase he is so hungry...

I had to feed my daughter small amounts at a time and she had to be upright afterwards. She even slept with her head higher than her feet. It helped when she was put on medication, but we still needed to be careful not to let her have too much at one time. SHe grew out of it by around 10 months or so...

I agree that it's allergies, but maybe not food related. My 13 year old son had a persistent cough that lasted for weeks. The doctor said it was from allergies, that this year there are so many things in the air that didn't die off due to our unusually warm winter. He said many people experienced allergies for the first time. I never knew coughing was a symptom of allergies. We didn't bother figuring out what he was alergic too, just gave him meds and that did the trick.

Do not understand why you are in the hospital for a month. Is he gaining weight. More info needed

You've been in the hospital for a month?? Or do you mean "in and out"? Either way, that's crazy.

Sounds like acid reflux (spit up) or some allergies or respiratory sensitivity (cough).

Is this a breast-fed or formula-fed baby? There's a very safe children's supplement that can be given even to very sick children - used worldwide but made in the US. It's given to preemies in feeding tubes, given in feeding stations by doctors treating very malnourished babies, and so on. It's available online but you have to work with a consultant to get good advice (great support, no extra cost).

Was he scoped for eosnophilic disorder? Sounds like food allergies/intolerance. Definitely has Eoe get a dr that's up with the times fast!!! He needs neocate formula. Elimination diet and steroids and nexium or Prevacid but make sure he is not allergic to these by only founding one at a time. Well I would first start neocate and elimination diet. Then add steroids depending on results of biopsies or pictures of his insides and how bad or good they r. U can always add steroids pulmacort slurry flovent swallowed or prednisone late since they will ruin your food elimination results. MSG Me if u need more help but this is a good start
