My rose bush has these black spots on the leaves that are killing it. My mother in law said to get some fungicide to help it, but it hasn't and it's been treated twice in two weeks. Any suggestions?
Google is a great idea to see what is going on.
We have an aquarium and when we change out the water, we put the discard water on the roses and they LOVE it. This year we have had no issues and some beautiful roses.
NOTE: I put the aquarium water on tomatoes and almost killed them. For some reason, only the roses love this water.
I have the same problem with my rosebush. I think it's because the level of fungus in the air has been very high over the past month due to all the rain, etc. I would follow the natural recommendation already given - the commerical fungicides are very, very toxic. I used those in the past on my rose bushes and I now have high levels in my blood.
If you google "black spots on roses" there was a lot of info available, I sadly have one that also is showing sad little spots of black.
