Help!!! My Mom Backed Out Nand Need Someone to Watch My 4 Month Old ???

It's almost like I wrote this. My mom was going to keep ours tonight for an office thing my husband and I were supposed to go to. She backed out at 11 last night, and I couldn't find anyone today. I just needed about 2 or 3 hours, but we had to miss it, which doesn't look good on my husband's part, but we were both supposed to be there, and they said they understood.

Hi J., Sorry to hear your mom backed out on babysitting for you tonight. We use a drop off playcenter in Grapevine called S.S. Noah. It's off of Main street in the same building as the Stacy Furniture store (behind where all the restaurants - Joe's crab shack, olive garden, spring creek barbeque - are). The phone number is ###-###-####. The director/owner's name is Angie Stith and usually Miss Kim or Miss Angel are the leads at the center. My daughter has been going there since she was 1 (she's 7 now) and I've taken my son there since he was 1 also (he's 2). I never took them when they were that small (4 months old), mainly because I just didn't feel comfortable leaving them with anyone else but family or friends before they could walk, but I've seen infants there as young as little 6 week old babies so I know they watch young ones all the time. I trust them with my kids, obviously, and have for years. They aren't cheap. I think they charge $8-9/hour for infants, but you can call to make sure. Also, you have to reserve a space for infants, so it may actually be too late if you need the care tonight, but you can call to check anyway. You may luck out if they have the space. Please feel free to tell them Audrey and Nicolas' mom, N., gave you their info. I don't think they have any kind of referral incentive, but it would be nice to let them know that I told you about them since my kids like it there so much. I would be happy to help, but I am at Western Center and North Beach. I don't know if that is too far for you to drive or not. I would be willing to pick up and drop off if you are willing to pay for the drive time. I have an extra Britax carseat. $8/hr We will just be relaxing at home tonight! I have an 18 mo old daughter and a 3 1/2 yr old son.

If you just need to go out with your friends, then stay home. You can never be to careful when you send your kid to someone else. I would never just leave my kid with a stranger. Invite your friends over for fun. I would hate to send my kids off for me just to have fun and something happened.
