Yep, I agree, either dr or different formula. My daughter did the same thing and we had to try several formulas, then finally had to do a a rice based one with cereal added in order for her to keep it down. We lived with towels under her and piled up everywhere for about a week and a half before we found the right combination. If she's six monhts old, have you tried any baby food recently? There's lots of things around that age that could be triggering it. I'd probably take her to the dr first just to rule out sickness. And they would probably have samples of different formulas to try. Good luck.

Call you doctor immediately. She is too young to expiriment with formulas, etc. without your doctor's advice. She may already be dangerously dehydrated.

Projectile vomiting is a big sign that you need to get your daughter to her doctor.
It could also be the formula is wrong for her. With my second son it took a few attempts to find a formula that he didn't vomit or cry after eating.
But really you do need to get her in to her doctor and discuss what is going on with him/her.

My older sister went through something similar w/her daughter. They finally determined she was completely lactose intolerant and started using all soy-based formulas. She even uses Silk now instead of milk and limits all other milk-based products. I'm certainly not saying this is the problem, but it might be worth consulting your doctor.

Call the Dr. immediately!
If she is not ill,
she may be allergic to her formula.
Goat's milk is a healthy, safe, and gentle alternative.
Try a local health food store and ask if they carry it or have a recommendation.
Praying for you and your little one.

My 21 year old daughter did this when she was a baby! I was only 18 when I had her, so no one would listen to me! She constantly projectile vomited, and when I fed her certain foods, and orange juice she did the same. The doctor kept telling me she was gaining weight, so there was nothing wrong with her. I never saw anyone else's baby doing this so I knew there was something wrong. I was breast feeding, but when she was 10 1/2 months I went to a new pediatrician who was horrified. All of this time she had a severe milk allergy. She was even allergic to breast milk, or maybe what I was eating! We switched her to soy, and she was a different baby overnight. She couldn't go to cow's milk until about 16 months. It totally ruined my being able to bond with my baby, because of her constant screaming fits from her pain. I thought I was a failure. 3 more of my children have been milk sensitive since, but I knew what to do with them. I insisted there was something wrong until the doctor listened.

I would take her to the doctor right away. There isn't much nutritional value to Pedialyte. It sounds kind of like when our daughter had rotovirus, although she coudn't keep anything at all down, and I think they vaccinate for it now. Still, dehydration is a concern. Take her in! ;)

Good luck.

If she's been vomiting for more than 24hrs you might need to take her to the hospital for medication and rehydration...

Is the formula milk base or soy? She could be having a reaction to the formula. Call and tell your Doctor. A change in formula may need to be made.

I would call the pediatrician right away. They may have other ideas (formulas) that you can try.

Your baby may have developed an allergic reaction to that formula. You might need to switch. I used enfamil AR which has rice starch in it.Its a thick formula but it stayed in his tummy. He quit the projectile vomiting and had mild throw up until his tummy adjusted to it. Thats all my baby could drink.
have you taken her to the doctor?
Best Wishes!
