Can anyone help me please? I had to leave my hair stylist of over 15 years. I am in despirate need of a stylist who is good with coloring hair. Everyone I have tried so far, the color fades and/or washes out within three to five washes and I am left with faded hair that looks like a friend and I got together and tried to hi-lite each other's hair over a few drinks. I live in Arnold, but I don't mind going a bit south or a bit north. Does anyone have any suggestions. I saw the post about De Ja Vu Salon, but I am not sure about their coloring services. Thanks so much to anyone who can help me out. M. A.

So What Happened?

If you saw my previous "so what happened," I stated that I had decided to go to St. Louis Hair and see Jess Mathes. My appointment was today, and I could not be happier. She truly did an awesome job with my hair, took the time to get to know me & my lifestyle, etc. and did not charge me an arm and a leg for a job very well done. She is really nice (much younger than me) and truly a professional, and the atmosphere in the shop is great too. I already have my next appointment booked!!!

I go to a wonderful girl in Brentwood, which I'm guessing is a little farther than you were wanting to drive. But she used to teach color classes and is a GENIUS with color! Aside from roots as my hair grows, my color looks great for months. I've actually gone 4 months between colorings in the past, but that's a long time. Anyway, if you'd like to call her, her name is Angie and her number is ###-###-####. Good luck!

I go to a place there in Arnold called Great Hair, but specifically to the stylist there named Barb Aldridge. She's awesome with hair color and has an terrific personality too!
I had my hair colored and highlighted there several times and it lasts a several months, even with red coloring it doesn't start fading until about 1 1/2 - 2 months. Her hightlighting looks natural and beautiful too.
Great Hair is on Jeffco Blvd in the Shop n' Save plaza (Water Tower Plaza?).
Their # is ###-###-####.

I go to a girl who is actually a good friend of mine named Crystal Phillips. She works at a salon in North County called Hair 'Em. It's kind of a drive, but I constantly get compliments about my hair, especially the color. I still get compliments weeks after I get it colored. She does a great job and I followed her from a salon in West County to this place in North County and I live in South County. Good luck!

I love my stylist (Mindy) at St. Louis Hair Salon on Telegraph. I've followed her through three salons to this location, where she is a part-owner.

I color my hair red and everyone thinks it's natural :) Red is a very difficult color to keep, but mine stays looking great for 6 weeks - looking good for 8+.

Hope this helps :)

J
