I would head to Nordstrom (or another place like it) and have a pro fitting. You'll get the perfect bra with the help of the sales lady.
I need to take my own advice, I just lost a bunch of weight and I really need to replace my bras.
Ladies -
A baby changes everything, so they say. Anyway, after some months of shopping, I landed on the new perfect bra, the satin skin from VS in 34DD. After being abused in the washing machine by my husband (if he's doing laundry, who am I to complain), they are on their last legs.
I called VS to learn that they've been discontinued. They recommended the unlined body by VS series, which I tried, but these leave me spilling over the top. (very unseemly).
Any suggestions?

If you are spilling over the top you may be wearing the wrong size. Go to a store that will measure you for the correct size. Keep in mind, bras are no different than any other clothing, sizes sometimes change depending on how it is shaped and who makes it.
Go back to VS and tell them you need to try on every bra in the store. They will bring you a whole BOX full of bra's in your size to try on, and they're VERY accommodating. Those sales ladies have hugged me through many a crying fit over my post baby boobies!!
Walcoal makes the best, supportive bras and they specialize in large sizes. I've been using them for years... Expensive but worth the money. Wash by hand! Also, if you are spilling over the top, maybe you are (gasp!) larger than a 34DD!!! (or maybe move up to a 36D).
I used to wear VS in college.... they do not last very long. They get stretched out easily. Invest in a good Walcoal bra. You will be amazed!!!Good luck!
Man I wish I knew the name of mine... it's the newer one that doesn't have adjustable straps.. I got the racerback that clips in the front and it's AMAZING. We wear the same size and man oh man, best bra I ever bought... and it's held up amazingly in the wash and hasn't stretched out! This one is great because the cup is still like a v-neck friendly one but it's full coverage and I don't fall out of it. Seriously go try it!
try on a bunch of different bras, padded, unpadded, different sizes etc. I find that underwire is a must for me (I am a 32DD, but sometimes I can wear a regular D cup depending on fit) Bras that are too tight give me "quadraboob" and too loose, well... i need support. right now I am wearing a Victoria's secret "push up" bra... with "larger chested" people, a full coverage bra is a must. the demi-cups often cut off you boob in an unseemly way.
SO if I were you, I would wear a tight fitting t-shirt, go to a lingerie store and try on every bra in your size, as well as a size down, or a size up as needed. look at them on alone, as well as with a tight t-shirt and once you find one that fits, buy a few in different colors (I usually get one white, one skin tone, one black, and if i can afford it, one "fun" one) If I can only afford one bra at the time I get black.
also, if you are not sure of fit, don't be afraid to ask the salesperson to help you out, trust me they see thousands of women in their bras of all shapes, sizes and ages, and they are not going to mind (and if they do why are they working in a bra store?)
Good luck!

How did you ever find a bra that size??? I have the worst time trying to find a 34C. All the manufacturers seem to think is that a 34 can be no bigger than a B cup. :( Warner's used to put out wonderful bras in my size, but now I can't find them. I have also found that I need to try on bras, because some are not true to size and wind up being too small so measuring doesn't always help. Right now, I've succomed to a sports bra. It has a lot of support and makes me look smaller, which is great. (Too many people look down instead of at my face.) The only complaint I have is that the gum drops occationally show. :(
VS bras are pretty but they are not very functionally supportive for those of us blessed with bigger girls. I am perky 34DD and intend to stay that way, fortunately I came from a good gene pool!
Go to a good store... Nordstroms, Neimans, even Dillards and Macy's and get professionally fitted.
I love a bra with no lining, no decoration and my favorites are Wacoal. They may be $60+ bur the are good quality, functional and pretty.
They give much more support than VS.
Good luck
Would a larger cup size keep you from spilling? Maybe a fuller cup. I used to wear 34DD and love the Body series at VS, so I know how they run. They are pretty snug.
Both Macy's and J C Penny carry 32 & 34 DDD and DD sized bras but you will need to get them when they land in the story. Tons of girls are that size and scoop them up quickly.
My two of my nieces are well endowed like that without being big across the back. I also have ordered bras for them from www.braexperience.com which also has great bras but their shipping is snail slow and their bra's are pricey but well worth it when they finally arrive.
I really hope this helps.
Also note VS bra's largest cup size is a DD so they were just putting you into something that was their largest option. It doesn't sound like it fit though. Give the website a try or go to Macy's or JC Penny's.
Do you have a Soma Intimates near you? I was the same way, wore a certain VS bra forever and then discontinued it and never could find another one that I liked. I saw a commercial for Soma and thought, why not give it a try...well I love them, I got the vanishing back ones. The ones to help hide the "back fat" that most of us mom's have and they're great.
The nearest store for me is 45 mins. away, but totally worth it.
Have you checked ebay? You can buy them unused and new on ebay. Thats were I always find discontinued stuff.
Well since I am at work I think taking off my dress and bra to read the tag is out of the question. Though I am not sure if that action would actually shock anyone.
I used to wear those so I know what you are talking about with the spillover. What I have on does the same thing in the same size but for the life of me I can't remember which style it is. If you don't hear back from me message me tonight when I am home, Troy is used to me winging off clothes.
I know how hard it is to find a good bra. Oh just so you know I gave them what for when they discontinued them.
Ah ha! it is called perfect one. I wouldn't call it perfect but darn close.

You might have the "Demi" style in that line? Demi bras cover only half the breast and the straps are cut out further on the shoulder. Full coverage is just that and the straps are a bit closer to the neck. Even my smaller B size fall out of their demi. But I think that's because I need bigger cup size now?!
