I wanted to see if anyone could refer a good pediatrician for a newborn in the Lakeland area.
Hello, Ladies, I just wanted to say thank you for all of your help. I'm going to start interviewing some of the suggested offices on Monday if I haven't gone in labor by then. Thanks again.
My kids go to Pediatric Associates of Lakeland. I am so ready to switch them out of there. Rude staff, and too many silly rules for thier office. No food, no drinks, no strollers, more than one adult if you bring in more than 2 kids...it goes on and on.
Do NOT recommend Lakeside Pediatrics! Very rude staff with long waits even with scheduled appointments. Some good doctors one very nasty prejudice doctor named Roulette. Most time you don't see doctor, you see nurse practitioner. Very arrogant, extremely difficult to communicate with.
We go to Watson Clinic, and have Dr. Eanett ( He is at the S. Clinic). I have also heard really good things about Lakeside Peds. and Dr. Roulette (not sure I spelled her name right.)
I like DR Smith at Pediatric Associates, she is at the one by the lakeland. The office has all women and usually good repore. The nurse Tammy is AWESOME too. Good luck!

I use Dr Frates at Watson Clinic North.
I had many bad experiances with Lakeside Pediatrics, esp Dr Roulette, and do not reccomend going there.
I love Lakeside Pediatrics. I rec. you go and interview the offices of these dr.s All you need to do is schedule an appt. for a new mommy to be. You can go in and see how the office works. Also, be sure to take in questions....like on-call, getting in when your child is sick, different things like that. Good luck...and remember, if you pick someone and you don't like them...you can always change!
I use Dr. Wehle at Watson Clinic North. He's awesome. I went to him when I was little and now use him for my daughter. He's sweet and patient and an awesome doctor. His number is ###-###-####
My children have been going to Dr. Rachel Ray since they were babies, but I have recently thought about changing them because a friend told me how wonderful her Doctor was. Her's is Dr. Ford by Bartow Memorial Hospital. My little brother sees Dr. Haskins at Watson Clinic and they love him.
I go to the Southside Watson Clinic and they have 2 wonderful DR's I would recommend. There is a new woman and I am not sure of her last name, but they'll know it, she replaced Dr. Ingrahm....she is great with my kids and my kids really like her which is the most important thing....do not get Dr Morris or Dr Haskins...go with the other 2....
