Hi M.. Yes I know someone . His name is Kevin Kasky. He owns All American Pest management. He's great, ###-###-####. or email ____@____.com tell him you got his # from D. Montgomery from the BNI group.
Does anyone know of an exterminator that uses natural products? I have seen many ants in my bathroom and front entrance. I have a newborn and a two year old. Is there anything that I can buy at a store that I can do myself. Has anyone had any success. I don't want to pay a lot of money.
Thanks for the info. I called Keith botanical pest control out of keller.

I use Rid-All pest company. They use all natural products.
I have a 3 yr old and I was concerned about using chemicals for bugs & spiders when she was younger, so I just put up with the bugs. But in the last month or so, I have used Boric Acid mixed with sugar. You can get it at Wal-Mart or Home Depot or Lowe's. The bugs love eating that stuff and I haven't had a problem since then. I also haven't had a problem with my 3 yr old messing with the powder. I used it in my kitchen, bathroom, and living room. It doesn't smell and it doesn't float around in the air. Hope this helps.
I also have used the ant baits with great success. I have also heard for taking chalk and drawing a line around where you see them. I have not personally tried this, but have heard many people say that it works.
I have this problem too. I have a 15 month old who is into everything. I tried corn meal, it didn't work so I went and bought ant baits at the store and now the ants are gone. Just put the baits where the kiddos can't get to them.
We use Nature's Guide Mound Drench for an immediate remedy and then sprinkle Green Light Fire Ant Control for a long-term remedy. Both products are certified for use in an organic garden. I get mine from Petal Pushers (http://www.petalpushersgarden.net/) in Cedar Hill, TX but you can find them other places.
We discovered that the ants in our kitchen were entering through the kitchen window (50-year-old, wooden windows). I picked up a bag of coffee grounds from Starbucks (they give them out for free for use in gardens) and sprinkled the grounds on the outside window sill. We haven't had a problem with ants since (as long as we keep the grounds on the sill--I've had to replenish them a few times).
I had read that ants have trouble crossing baking soda, it confuses them and they lose their scent trail. When they invaded my kitchen, I found their points of entry and piled up the baking soda. The trails of ants stopped and they have never returned. Clean-up was relatively easy, too. I had many animals and a small child at that time and did not want any poisons around. It worked for me.
I don't know if Britton Pest Control uses natural products but please give Robert a call at ###-###-####. Tell him that L. referred you. I believe he should be able to answer your questions. He is the best.
