I'm trying to feed my family more healthy choices these days. I'd like to cut up an apple to serve slices at dinner, is there something I can put on them or soak them in to keep them from getting brown???

Thank you.

You can squeeze a little fresh lemon juice into a bowl of ice water and cut them up into that. rinse and pat dry when ready to serve. I just slice them up when it's time for dessert.

Orange juice or lemon ade. Something like that.

And funny you say cut up an apple and serve it at dinner. Apples can sit in the fridge or bowl, untouched. But if I slice them up and put them on the table, they're gone!

Lemon juice or pineapple juice works best. No real residual taste from them, either.
