Last year I had a hysterectomy and had to have my appendix out the same week. Since then I've had problem after problem. I am always dizzy, my back, legs, feet hurt, there is a tingle sensation throughout my fingers and they hurt. Also My head and neck hurts. My heart rate beats fast and sometimes I feel as if someone is sitting on my chest. Tests done:I wore a heart monitor for 30 days, did the stress test, MRI, EEG, blood tests(full scan). I don't know what is going on and it seems like the doctors don't either. Anyone ever have these symptoms? Any ideas what it could be?? Thanks

What can I do next?

Just a thought...have you thought about trying a chiropractor? I have learned that there are many physical symptoms that come from spine/neck problems. If your regular doc hasn't found anything it wouldn't hurt to talk to a chiropractor. Most of them will give you a free diagnostic session and first adjustment. If you live in the Goldsboro area email me and I'll give you the info for the one my family uses.

I would think it sounds like nerves also but you may want to have them check your thyroid too. I got really bad off ablout a year and a half ago with some of the symptoms you are having as well as a few more. I went round and round with the doctors and hospitals and was finally found to have Hpolori (ulcers) and Hoshimoto Thyroiditis (Thyroid problem which turned into hypothyroidism. It took what seemed like forever to find it and now they have somewhat got them under control but I definately fell better in the end.

Not to scare you, but when my mom had her hysterectomy she got sick and they thought they had left something in there, they had to go back in there and found out they hadnt left anything, but she had gang green growing. She is doing fine now..but it left a lot of scar tissue that has caused many other issues. Good luck.

Full scan- of your body? Could an instrument been left in?
Did they cut something they should not have? What kind of doc did the surgery? Was it a resident? Who closed the wound?
I would see a neurologist, maybe a very rep surgeon in a large medical center, they have lots of docs who would try to solve the problem. You may even need to be opened up again and explored. Then, get a lawyer. Good luck.

Hi,

Not an MD just a suggestion, could you possibly have a pinched nerve?

Good Luck,
