So I have had a headache off and on for the last 4 days along with naushea. On tuesday night I threw up and had diarrhea. Rested and slept all day on Wed. now I am back at work and my head is still hurting. It is only hurting on the left side temple and when I walk I feel a little woozy. I also have a tingling sensation on the left side of my face under my eye. Does anyone know what might be causing the tingling?

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Thanks ladies. I went to the doctor and he said I had a virus and an acute sinus infection and gave me antibiotics. I am starting to feel a little better although the naushea still comes and goes. I am hoping that will go away soon.

It sounds like you have a sinus infection or severe allergies which can cause headache, diarrhead and tingling of the face. The headache and tingling of the face is from the pressure in your nasal cavitiy along with your left temple. I'd suggest some strong allergy meds and if thats a no go , then see the doctor so you can get some ABX for a sinus infection. Augmentin and Keflex work great for that.

it could be something very serious or it could be dehydration if you didnt drink enough during your bout of illness that can also cause headaches. Keep track of your headaches if they make you throw up again I would go to the dr asap. Make sure you are hydrated and if these do not go away seek medical care. Also if the headaches gets worst please seek emergency care.

You need to see a doctor immediately! It could be anything from a migraine to a sinus infection or something more serious!
My mother had an aneurism in her brain burst when she was 28! In perfect health! She had similar symptoms to you: really bad headache for several days, neurological symptoms (tingly feeling, numbness) and dizzyness. She was first misdiagnosed with a migraine, sent home and almost died! I was a little kid then and remember her in the ICU with her head in a huge bandage after getting brain surgery that saved her life.
Get yourself to a doctor today!

It really could be anything from a migraine to a sinus infection to ... well, I'd rather not speculate. You need to call your primary physician and get seen for this.

Sometimes these symptoms can be from migraine headache, but I'd encourage you to see a Dr since you have other symptoms and they have lasted more than 24 hours.

You're "woozy" and have unspecified pain in your head and you're....at work? Please call your doctor right now and say you're coming in immediately and if he can't see you, then go to an "urgent care center" directly from work, now (though I would still recommend seeing your regular doctor ASAP even if you get checked out at an urgent care center).

You shouldn't be at work, and if you're woozy, which I take to mean dizzy or weak or both, you shouldn't be driving either -- get someone to take you even if you have to leave your car and get it picked up later. Stay home tomorrow no matter what.

You may have ANYthing. You should get diagnosed. Even if it's just the nasty but common norovirus that is going around all over the place, you are probably still contagious to others -- with some gastro viruses, you remain infectious from three days to up to two weeks after you feel better and stop vomiting/diarrhea.

Please update us. I hope you get a diagnosis and treatment quickly and please-- do not drive!

CALL YOUR DOCTOR NOW! We can all guess and speculate but the only way to know if it is serious or not is to see your doctor.
