It is just something many girls and boys go through.
I have a 14 month old boy who is now into banging his head against the wall and laughing about it, biting and screaming. Is this all normal phases they go through? Any experiences with them?

My son is doing that as well... and daughter (twins) and they are 15 months. In fact, I'll tell one no, and then the other one joins in! :) I swear I have the little child from the movie Parenthood :)
Sounds just like a boy with a lot of energy to release, experimenting ways to release that energy. :)
Yes. My son was doing that for a few days. I caught him once hitting his head on the radiator and saying ouchie!! I asked my ped about it and she said it was normal. I sort of ignored it and it went away.
My first son used to bang his head on EVERYTHING on purpose. He used to bang it on the wall and even on the tile floor. He would do it when he got mad. I talked to the doctor about it and he said that they know how hard to do it. It is actually common especially in boys. There is stuff on the internet on it. I remember searching head banging. He does not do it anymore so it does get better! Good luck!
Yes, it can be totally normal. They usually just move on. It's just something new.
My son just turned 2 and is finally growing out of head-banging. He did it for about a year. Banged it on everything for no reason or if he got mad. If he was mad he would look for something to bang his head on, if nothing was around, he would just bang it on the ground. He has even run into the siding of a house to bang his head. No worries, all normal, your son will be fine.
