Having Trouble Conceiving 2Nd Child

RELAX!! Procreation sex is stressful sex, and naturally lowers your chances of conceiving. The more you relax and have fun with it and ENJOY it, the greater your chances are :) Have fun trying, and don't forget to stick a pillow under your hips when he's done ;)

For us, it only took a few months for our first, which at the time I thought was a long time. Then when we were ready to start on number 2 it took over a year. It felt like forever! We tried everything, and it wasnt until (like other people have said) that we just relaxed (well, kind of gave up really trying) that we ended up pregnant! Then for number 3 (due in Feb) we werent really trying (though we werent protecting either, but no ovulation kits ect) the relaxed method, and we were pleasantly suprised again!

So the best advice is to relax, which is so hard to do when you want a baby, i know! ...and it doesnt hurt to throw those legs up after for a while too! GOOD LUCK!! It will happen!

Chart your temp and cycle stats - this will help you to find out when you ovulate and increase your chances of having sex on the right day. I'm in the same boat - happy trying!!

Get a digital fertility monitor. IT WORKS!!! For our first child we tried for 6 months. Then we did several rounds of fertility testing without success. Finally we got pregnant on our own. We decided to start trying for our second child when our son was 6 months old. This time around we used the monitor. We were pregnant within two months! We used the Clearblue Easy monitor. It will cost you about $300. We wished we would have done that first before paying for a couple rounds of IUI! P.S. Try switching the time of day you are having sex. If you are having sex at night with no luck, try morning instead or vice versa. That can make a difference too.
