Totally normal. I experianced this a little worse with my first pregnancy. 2nd time around I still had some cramping but not as bad. good luck :)
I'm about 4 weeks along. I'm having period-style cramping and I'm concerned.
Is this normal or reason for concern??

I cramped too while early in pregnancy and was worried. It is perfectly normal. My ob said that it is normal to always feel like you are about to start your period.
As long as you are not spotting I would not worry. Congrats on a new baby on the way!
If you're not spotting or bleeding, it's nothing to be concerned about. Your uterus and ligaments are stretching and growing right now. It can be very painful (at least for me) and can come and go during your pregnancy. If you notice any spotting or bleeding, call your doctor. In the meantime, take it easy if you can. Put your feet up and watch some mindless TV! :)
I would say it is totally normal, I had that with all 3 of mine. Your body is preparing itself to grow, organs are already beginning to prepare to move around and such.
Don't overdo it, get rest, and relax as much as possible. Do keep an eye on yourself, but I would say what you are experiencing is totally normal.
CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!
Cramping is very normal. I would try not to worry unless you see red blood.
Not to scare you or anything. . . . do you have any bleeding? If so it could be a miscarrage. My friend had cramping & spotting, then 1 day of heavy blood (she freaked b/c she had the same symptoms & had a prior miscarrage at 6 weeks). It ended up she has a tear in her uterus & is on bed rest for 5 weeks. I hope it's nothing as serious, but just wanted you to know what it could be. Maybe the baby is growing & stretching your uterus out! :o) Good luck!
I had cramps at that time, too. In fact, it felt just like menstrual cramps, so I didn't think to take a pregnancy test until they lasted a week!
My ob/gyn said cramps are perfectly normal. That said, he still asked me to come to the office for an ultrasound to confirm everything was fine.
Good luck!

This is normal. Don't worry. As long as there is no blood, you are ok. If you are very concerned, call your OB just to put your mind at ease :-) And congratulations!
It is more than likely just your uterus stretching out. And my OB told me that with every pregnancy, your body feels more and more - like the body aches and pains are going to be worse with each pregnancy. If you're really concerned, call your OB. Just take it easy, and as long as there's no bleeding, I think you're ok. Good luck!
I would say it's normal b/c you uterus is expanding; unless you are spotting, then call your OB or go to an Urgent Care. In any event, lay down on your left side, drink lots of water and rest until the cramping has passed.
I don't think that is normal, but I am not a physician. Contact him or her with any questions, or go to www.marchofdimes.com. They are an excellent resource for all of your pregnancy concerns! Every Mom to be should look them up!
Rest and hydrate. If you're worried, check with your ob. It's probably wayyyyyyyy too early for round ligament pain; at this point your uterus is not growing much because the embryo is not even the size of a poppy seed. It's more likely that the uterus is 'cleaning house' and shifting things around getting the placenta set up and ready to go.
