Have You Tried the Skinny Wrap Cult?? Lol

I call it a cult because everyone I know that sells them are so intense about it! I think its kinda funny.

Anyhoo, Im gonna try it. I have heard mixed reviews about it from others. I am not looking to lose inches, I am more interested in what it can do the for skin on my belly. I have decided against surgery to fix my stomach. I have extra skin, but as I have been toning up, its getting better. If I stand there and kinda hold my belly at the sides, my stomach looks perfect, but then when I let it go, its like ugggh! Its not herendous, but it needs some help. The thing is gonna cost $30 so I thought it was worth a shot.

Have you tried it? What did you think? Im not really banking on it doing miracles, but like I said, its worth a try.

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Not trying to lose weight with this. I am wondering if it could help tightened the skin on my stomach.

One of my best friends is licensed in skin care, and DOES NOT sell skinny wraps and she said it will help tighten the skin, but it would have to be done every couple months or so.

I've read reviews on these and found them to be the usual hyped up health and beauty scam. If you go to Amazon.com, you'll find very mixed reviews...literally, people either giving them 1-star reviews or 5-star reviews. Nothing in between. Why? Well, the 1-star reviews are from people who have actually tried the product, and the 5-star reviews are from distributers who are SELLING the product!

The bottom line is that with wraps the results are TEMPORARY. They might last for an hour or two...and then you're right back where you started.

Best of luck!

Is there something specifically called the skinny wrap, or are you just referring to herbal wraps in general?

I had a total body herbal wrap once, and hated it! I'm clausterphobic and had a panic attack while I was bound up on the "autopsy table" you have to lay on. It's tilted so all of the excess water that comes pouring out of your body drains down this table into these wells on the side.

Anyhoo, I didn't like it. It was hot as heck and my skin looked very wrinkled afterward because the wraps left grooves in my skin...kinda like when you sleep wrong on your pillow and you get lines on your face.

The only plus to me was that I DID lose an inch or so, mostly in the waist area. The effects last about two days, or until you eat salty foods and drink water and regain your lost water weight. So it's good if you have to squeeze into a dress for a special occasion.

The wraps cause you to sweat out excess water from your body, so it's just an illusion that you've lost weight. You have to be really careful not to get dehydrated. Drink lots of water before the treatment, and be sure to get liquids after.

I always ask myself...

Do you think anyone would have extra belly skin, or be fat...if it worked?
