My husband dropped his iphone and cracked the screen. There are many places online that you can send your phone to have it fixed. Can you recommend a place?

Take it to the Apple store. My husband dropped his and it cracked. He went to the store and they gave him a new phone, even though he was a few months past warranty. Apple rocks with customer service!
Apple store. I cracked mine and they said that the way they are made, the screen can not be replaced & they gave me a new phone at no charge. Nice!!
BTW, don't forget to save your pics/videos & sync to iTunes.
We found a local place too, they are popping up everywhere. Apple won't necessarily give you a new phone, don't bank on it.
Try Apple first. If that doesn't work My husband and I have cracked ours 3 times and we go to Chicago Techs on Cicero near Addison. I get my 3GS screen replaced for $35. If you have an iphone4 then it's substantially more because the 4 needs the screen and LCD replaced when it cracks.
We took our daughter's iPod touch to a local place. They replaced it for $85 and it took about 45 minutes. Good as new!

My husband just had his replaced at a T-Moble store for approximately $50.
Good thing he stepped down months ago he must have saw it coming...I agree take it to apple so they can recommend a legit place
