Hi J.

I have a 2 year old little boy that has SEVERE eczema on his arms/hands and legs/feet. We have tried everything that the pediatrician and dermatologist have suggested and nothing works very well (Cloderm, Desonoid, Hydrocortizone, Aquaphorm, Cetaphil, Dove, Vaseline and on and on) for very long. I was wondering if anyone has used the Baby lines from either of these two companies for Eczema and what your experience has been with it. I am willing to try anything to help my little one.

No I have not used either product for Eczema. My daughter has asthma due to allergies and gets eczema about twice a year on large parts of her little body. We go to an allergy clinic and she has a whole host of other doctors who care for her as well. All of them have suggested the same protocol remedies for the horrible patches of dry irritated skin. One however suggested Shea Butter and he said 100% pure Shea Butter. I found some and it worked, it's really greasy and is a bit uncomfortable under clothes but he will get used to it when he realizes his skin is better. I swear by it! You can probably find it at a health food store like Whole Foods or Central Market.
Personally myself and my family does not have eczema, but alot of women that I work with have and they swear by Melaleuca. They've converted their houses to all Melaleuca products therefore getting the toxins and chemicals out and have seen such a difference. If you would like to give me a call I can tell you all about it plus give your info to a few of the ladies and you can speak with them. I feel for you and either way you go - I hope that it works for your son!!

I would recommend testing for food intolerance (different from allergy)---Dr. Bain in Frisco may be able to help. There has to be a core issue that needs to be addressed---poor lil' guy. I hope something helps. I know Dr. Bain is an advocate of the baby products with Arbonne, so maybe she can state whether it would help eczema or not.
