I have always used pressure points to work through emotional problems and relieve tensions. I checked out the link and tried the first session and liked it, it has a lot of the same principles as reflexology. Thanks for sharing!
I am just curious. This is a relatively new form of self-therapy to help with negative beliefs/emotions that lead to negative behavior or health.
Has anyone tried it and had it work for them? Here's a website about it in case you are curious: www.tapping.com
EFT stands for Emotional Freedom Techniques, by the way.

I have a friend who deals with her anxiety and food sensitivities using it. She swears by it.
My dad has done a lot of reading about it. He is always reading about different things and he swears by it. My sister and I were a little skeptical about it until Thanksgiving of last year. All of our family was at my grandma's house and my 9 year old cousin broke out in hives. They were all over and she was miserable. We kept giving my aunt (her grandmother) suggestions and what would help. 15-30 minutes later my cousin came in the living room and she was completely hive free. We asked her if she had been given benadryl, etc. She said no, that Uncle Jack just showed her how to tap on herself. I don't think I would have believed her if I wouldn't have seen it for myself!
A friend of mine swears by it, and she's pretty rational. So does a therapist I saw once. I personally feel dumb telling myself I love myself, or whatever it was I was supposed to say, so it didn't work for me, but I do believe it could work.
Yes, it's quite powerful. It's a form of 'energy medicine' which is the medicine of tomorrow - but here today. You can do it on yourself or work with a trained practitioner.
