Has Anyone Ever Tried the Sandbox in the Shape of a Turtle?

My daughter's 5th birthday is around the corner and we are looking into purchasing a sandbox for her. I read the information provided by the other mom that previously posted, but I was wondering if anyone has used the turtle shaped sandbox? Does it work as well as the others?

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Thank you for everyone responses, I believe that is the one that we will go with. This way she will stop digging in my yard. Thanks again!

I had it for my daughter and I liked it because it has a lid and keeps cats and rain out. I have also used it as a pool. I say go for it.

i got one as a hand me down and the only problem i have had is you have to line it up right to close it, the top comes off completely. but otherwise the size is good for one child.

My son had the turtle shaped sanbox and he loved it. It was also really nice because it had a cover.

Hi!

I has the turtle sandbox, and although I didn't use it for sand it was PERFECT for just about everything.

We initially were going to make it a sandbox but never bought the sand.. lol! Go figure. So, we used it to store toys outside on our patio (we lived in an apt then) and then when the weather was hot we dumped the toys out, plugged up the hole and used it for a pool. Best darn pool ever for kids!

It turned out to be a very versital toy and I love it most because of the shell that covers up whatever mess is inside! I think your daughter will love it, sand or water.. ! I was sad when we got rid of ours, and now I want it back!

i bought the turtle sandbox for ?$20 a few years ago and it was wonderful. the covering really kept the sand dry in rain storms (we did put a big concrete block on top though when it was really bad weather to keep the top on ) & without bugs (an occasional one got in)........my husband also built a sandbox & we put small pebbles in that one -- and the kids never really like that one as much as the turtle one. we even sold the sandbox when we moved figuring our stuff would be in storage for a little while -- and a woman paid $15 for it even though its little eyes fell off after having it for 6 years? or so........i didn't read the other sandbox questions......time is limited
