I went to an Ikea once. Felt trapped at the way you haev to follow there path to go anywhere. Decided I would not like to ever go there again lol.
I know one person who has bought one and they love it. I love ikea all around. What has your experience been with them for mattresses? Im thinking of buying the foam Flokenes. The closest one is 1 1/2 hour away so im tempted to buy one online and have it delivered. My back aches with my current one (15 years old) so time is of the essence. I will likely pay 2 to 3 times more in a local store. I dont have time to go to showrooms, i dont know how laying on something for 5 minutes will convince me or not either.

We bought 2 over in Shanghai. One was way too soft, one way too hard. We felt like Goldilocks & the 3 bears! Not sure what they are like in this country. lol
With IKEA, shipping is horribly high... I'd consider making a visit to IKEA a full day event.
I have the all latex... starts with EJ I think... love the bed, which I had bought a tightly woven fabric mattress protector tho!
I have not but they do have some sort of return policy if you are not happy with it. Just check into that first.
Don't they have customer reviews on the site? Seems like I looked at some stuff there once. IKEA is short term furniture. Good for a family of toddlers... but not anything you would keep around for years and years.
I hate to do this but I can't resist. Boughten is not a word. I'm just letting you know so you don't use it somewhere some time that might be important. All you had to say was "has anyone bought an ikea mattress". Not judging, just schooling. "purchased would have been the best choice"
We bought the king Sultan (I think that's what it's called) last year and although I knew it was considered firm, I thought it would be ok b/c I like a firm mattress- and it was the last one in stock and on sale!! however they weren't kidding- It is FIRM! So, beware! If I end up buying another from them I will consider their "firm" to be "extra firm"! Other than that, it's been good and held up perfectly.
We did and I liked it fine. We had it about 3-4 years before my husband replaced it. He didn't like it so much. We have different needs anyway. Now we each have our own beds. :) I think that getting a bed that suits you is best.
I recently bought the Flokenes for my daughter (she's 10 and likes a firm mattress). She seems very happy with it, but whenever I lay down on her bed, it feels like sleeping on a rock. I much prefer a soft, pillowy bed.
I bought one for my son's bed. I think it was something like "Sultan" --I know that's not the correct name, but some derivation of that... In the store it was comfy, but now when I use it I think it is too hard. I would pony up and buy from a local store, and get it from a store with a certain timeframe for no hassle returns.
