Does anyone know of any fun Halloween parties/events that I can take my toddler to? We live near Royal and 75.

Northwest Bible Church www.northwestbible.org has a great Fall Fest that is free for the community. There are all kinds of games for kids and toddlers as well as a picture taking area and food. I have been going since I was a junior high student working in a booth until now when I take my own daughter.
Hi J. -
The Greater White Rock Area (M-Streets/Lower Greenville) Early Childhood PTA puts on a really fun costume contest and parade the last Sunday in October at Teitze Park in the afternoon. Keep your eyes peeled for flyers around local businesses, also check out Yahoo! Groups "GWRA", or email me personally at ____@____.com - I'm the Secretary of the organization, and chair of the festivities this year.

Calloway's Nurseries are doing a Fall Harvest Kids Day on October 6 (at all of their locations). www.calloways.com and click "specials" then "events" for details.
The Heights Baptist Church in Richardson (75 & Renner) have an awesome festival that is free to the public. We go every year, and our children have never been disappointed. Your child can dress in costumes, nothing too scary for toddlers, play carnival-style games where every child is a winner, eat, usually have petting zoo, live entertainment, and jump houses. My child collects more candy on this night than trick-or-treating. I am not sure when it is this year, but you can get more info at www.theheights.org. The Dallas Zoo also has a fun night, but again, you need to check with them for actual dates.
