My son wants to buy a morph suit for halloween. he assures me you can wear clothes under it. Temps for halloween in OH are often in the 40's. could he wear windpants and a hoody under the morph suit or wouldn't it just look silly.?? I have tried and tried to get him to come up with something else, but he is being pretty stubborn, but if i pay i have ultimate say, he is just 12 this year and would still lilke to walk around with his dad and younger sister. Can anyone say for sure how stretchy these are? we would probably go to the halloween store so it might not be great quality.
I would go with long underwear top and bottom and a turtleneck. Anything else might be too bunchy and uncomfortable
He could probably wear thermal underwear under it. The thermals wouldn't show as much as regular clothes and he would still be warm..
I would try for thermal underwear to go underneath them. He's not going to be warm enough if it's in the 40s.
I saw a really cool idea online that you may be able to convince him to do. The kids were dressed as shadows. Black morph suit and a full layer of solid black clothing. It looked so cool! Might be a good compromise?
I like the idea of the black morph suit with all black clothes overtop. He can still wear the morph suit without clothes overtop for any indoor parties.
just buy a size too big and put thermal underwear underneath.

Both of my kids had them, I think 2 each. We are in AZ so it's hot, they just wore underclothes under them but I don't see why you couldn't wear more. It will just show the lines under it where the clothes wrinkle, if that makes sense. The point in being in those is for it to be smooth but he should be ok. Good luck.
I'd heat up some rice bags and put them in an ice chest. That way if he gets cold you can put one in the back of his clothes and it will warm his core.
Or you can keep them until he gets back in the car, to ride to another site, and the heater will warm him up too. I love rice bags. They not only heat me up but they heat up my clothes and my seat in the van.
