So easy to be grossed out about it! Do remember, though, that if he has truly cleaned himself in the shower, that the hair is infact clean. I know that the idea is gross, but most likey, it's not actually unclean.
Since my daughter still takes baths, I am always particular about the state of my tub. I especially have an issue with hair in the tub. This being the case, I am always careful to grab any hair I've shed after I shower in the morning. My husband is not so conscientious, but no big deal. My issue is this: when I start to get my daughter's bath ready, I often find a lot of his hair in the tub. And to paraphrase an episode of the Simpsons, they're not proper head hairs, either; they're the "curly whirleys". Gross. Nothing worse than thinking about my 2 year old coming in contact with his disgusting hair. And there's always a lot of it. I don't know if I'm looking for an answer or just want to hear opinions!

I have been in a living situation with over 8 people using one bathroom. General rule is clean the tub & shower thoroughly after you have finished using it or leave it the way you found it. If anyone is washing one of the little ones, that person is responsible for washing the tub out after they are done.
Husband should at the very least rinse out the tub. Cheer him on and perhaps it will get done.
I have the answer! :-) Hand held shower!! We have a combo - so one stays and one is hand held, you flip a diverter to power whichever one. At the end of a shower or bath, you easily rinse the tub with hand held!! And/or before little people (or big people) baths! :-) We have one from Bed, Bath and Beyond - Hotel Spa is the brand, it is crome, cost $30. We tried SEVERAL $100 models that browe or water flow restricted after a couple of months. Had this "cheap" model for almost 2 years with no problem. It is not "cheap" in it's quality and I'd reccommend it highly! Also helps wonderfully when you actually scrub and rinse the shower and bath.
Lol, I don't have a tub but my husband shaves in the shower and I go bananas when he doesn't clean it up, then my older use to put her long hairs stuck in the walls, gross!
That didn't last because I use to make her clean her hair AND dad's hair, it only took twice for her to stop. I still working on hubby.
Ohh and that is also another reason why we don't use bar soap any more, YIKES!
I feel your disgust, and all I can offer is an easy hair pick up solution. If the shower is still wet, take a piece of toilet paper and wipe it around. It will pick up stray hairs. Takes a few seconds, and keeps the tub clean. :)
Is your hubby open minded? Ask him to SHAVE IT OFF! Better for bedtime activity and bathroom clean up! Its a win win! ;)
Gross ask him to rinse the tub after use my hubby does he doesn't like his left over hairs lingering,or i'll rinse it out with a cup all over the shower then my kids can get in.
I laughed so hard I almost peed myself!!!
I have the same issue with my husband. Not the "curly" hairs mind you but massive amounts of head hair. My hubby has gorgeous, long, and thick hair. Very pretty on his head, but not so pretty when he leaves it in matted wads in the shower. :P
I havn't talk to him about it yet. The kids are still so young that I prepare their baths and cleanup to tub before they get in. But as they get older I will have to "train" the hubby to cleanup his Wookie sheddings before exiting the shower.
