Can anybody help me with this crazy maze of hair extensions? I have had the micro tube hair weft before - I liked the idea of no glue in my hair - but I didn't like having to pay for the maintenance of going in every 4 - 6 weeks to get them tightened. I am considering Cinderella extension - has anyone tried them and what has your experience been? Anybody with expereicne with hair extensions I would love to hear from you -thanks - Ang

So What Happened?

Hi everybody -
I got my hair done on Thursday - and I am extremely pleased and the rest of my family agrees that it looks much better than the first time (micorlinks with wefts of hair) This time I had Cinderella hair extensions done by Samantha Belanger at Salon 22 in Upland. Her number is ###-###-#### or ###-###-####. We as consumers really need to help each other out -the more educated - the better. The biggest suggestion I can give anyone is make sure you look at the hair and like the hair before you have it put in - I didn't do this the first time and that probably was my biggest mistake. Make sure you ask a lot of questions and are comfortable with the person who is doing your hair. Samantha is really patient and gentle. Highly recommend her - tell her I sent you and ask her for a deal - let me know how things go - be happy - A.

Click on:

check out ebay for the kit to do it yourself. If you find it's cost effective for you...then you can do it yourself...if not have a potluck with friends and you can do it together...

If not this might be your gift to yourself to go let someone else do it and pay...I was looking for a way to do my eyelash extensions by myself because of the cost and found that it stressed me out so, I invest in myself once a month to keep my appointments in check so that I can have some "ME-TIME". Do my pedicure, eyes every 1-2 months and 3-6months for my hair color. Pamper yourself you deserve it!

I haven't heard of that yet, but I just got my extensions in a few days ago and i like them, i have the hair locks with fusion.

i think they are all pretty much the same, but stylists use different words/terms to market their product.

good luck with your choice!

I first got extensions last year around Thanksgiving and I got the 18" hair. I absolutely loved having the long hair and the way my stylist cut it with all the layers. But I had them glued in which is the BIGGEST mistake ever. It took forever to get all of the glue out of my hair and I lost so much hair. My hair was thin to begin with and after the extensions I felt like I had no hair!
A couple months later I bought the hair again and bought the hair clips. I strongly recommend having them clipped onto braids or teasing your hair and clipping them in. Even though teasing your hair is not really healthy, it is way better than the other methods.

I ended up sewing the clips to the tracks of hair and anytime I want to wear them I just tease my hair, spray with hair spray and clip the tracks into my hair. They stay in all day and look great. Before I go to bed I unclip them all, brush my hair out and there ya go!

Hi A.,

What is the Cinderella extension. I have done the regular extension that they braid your hair. The most recent one which I love (no damage to your own hair) is the one that they sew the extension on threads. Not your actual hair.
That too I needed to take out every 6 weeks.
I would love to know what the Cinderella extension is about.

Thanks,

Pamela
