Only thing I can think of is - now you know not to get that done next time. All it does is introduce foreign bacteria... good luck. I'd refuse any inductions or interventions from here on out tho - if I were you. My due date is July 24th.
My due date is on mon the 13th and today i had my appt and i'm 3 to 4 cm dialated so the doc stripped my membranes. I have had no spotting and no cramping but am feeling really sick to my stomach. Nausea, really weak even tho i ate and am drinking a lot. is this normal? I feel like i'm going to pass out and my stomach hurts. Not like cramping just hurts. I am contracting but only about 3 or 4 in an hour but that's normal

Did your doctor accidentally introduce an infection into your system. Do you have an elevated temperature? Call the doctor and tell her/him your symptoms.
I've never had it done. But I've read about it being done so many times with no complications. What I do know is that nausea can be a sign of impending delivery. But it could be nerves too since you really want this to happen.
My daughter was very sick the last day she was pregnant with my grandson and threw up several times during her labor and delivery. I've never done that myself. But I've read about it in others.

Yes--sounds normal to me. Alot of women feel sick or have diarrhea before going into active labor. The body's way of cleaning itself out before the big day. If you are unsure, call your doc or the L & D dept at hospital. They can help. Best wishes!

I think it's normal. I had mine stripped with my youngest & was really nauseus afterwards. 2 of my friends had it done to them and were throwing up after also. I never went into labor on my own, but my 2 friends did. My dr. said that sometimes nauseau can be linked to upcoming labor.
Good luck with your baby!!
With my last she stripped my membranes and I started to feel nausea. I eventually did throw up, it was just my body's reaction to going into labor. I would call your doctor/ advice nurse for labor and deliver and ask them what they think.
