Has anyone attended Gymboree Classes? Living Social is running a special that is pretty good-but the closest class is 35 minutes away-I want to be sure it's worth it before I drive there.

Thanks!

I agree with Katie. Gymboree is great for little kids (just barely walking to 3ish). They're pricy, but if you can find a coupon, well worth it. We did Gymboree for a little while and then switched to The Little Gym. It was basically the same thing just less expensive.

How old is your child? And yes, I agree that it depends on the center.

I took my child there from about 4-7 months and while it was nice for me to get out and talk with other moms, it was a waste of money for my kid.

We stopped going because the contingent of SAHMs who pretty much dictated the schedule wanted to move the 5 month and older class to 2:00, in other words RIGHT in the middle of a typical nap time. Of course the place catered to them so we quit going.

Yes I have done them with my daughter, she enjoyed them from age 10 months to 2 1/2 years. We also attended their open play sessions (around $5 each time if not in a current class/member).

By age 3 my daughter wanted nothing to do with them because they were "too boring" as she said. I really think it was she wanted more of a learning experiance instead of play time, movement with music time.

Yes, it is good.
But it depends on the center.
Each center has its own teachers.

My kids loved it.

My kids loved them. I felt they were better for the younger set, under 3-4yrs. Have fun!
