I have been reading a lot of comments in the press lately about what kind of mother Snooki will be. What do you think?

What can I do next?

I think if a tenth of the attention given to the fact that Snooki is pregnant & what kind of mother she will be was given to the neglected or abused kids in neighborhoods across America, it would be a good thing!

she's not a teenager, she is an adult. Will she be a good mom who knows, I am sure there are several moms on this site that partied hard had a good time pre- marriage and babies and turned out to be great fun loving parents. and I am sure there are several mama's on here that still party and have fun when the kids go to overnights at the grandparents. The only diff is they are not on t.v. being judged.

Don't all of us remember when we just found out we were pregnant, and thousands (or maybe just hundreds) of anonymous people we'd never met took to the internets to question our qualifications?

Last I checked, parenthood wasn't exactly a high bar to pass. :)

I think she will be able to buy a good nanny to raise her child for her.

I think regardless of how her life is portrayed as one big drunken stupor, her and Jionni's family upbringings will cause them to get their sh!t together, REAL quick, and yes, I think she'll be a good mom in the long run.

Lord knows I'M not perfect, but I try my absolute best. Of course she's not going to be a perfect mom. Even 'perfect' moms think other 'perfect' moms are not, you know?

I can not judge; I wish them all the very best of luck! I'm actually kind of excited to see how this all turns out, and I do NOT follow 'celebrities' lives.

I think parenting is probably much easier when you have the $ to hire a nanny.

Sorry - I don't follow Snooki so I really don't care nor do I have an opinion.

I think we give waaaaayyy too much credit and credence to "celebrities" especially "reality" TV celebs.

Why did you write "Gym/Tan/Baby"? What does that mean? I have never watched Jersey Shore, but there is something I find likable about "Snooki". She has a sweet face. Anyway, a lot of people partied hard before they became parents and turned out to be great parents. I don't think what she's doing as a single girl is indicative as to the type of mother she'll be. I'm sure she knows not to take the baby to the club. I don't think it's fair for people to judge her negatively just because of some staged reality show. (I think pretty much all reality shows are staged. The ones that aren't get canceled for being "boring". )

I mean this nicely.... But seriously..... If we focused more on helping and giving back to our community than worrying some celebrity our world would be a better place. Lets talk about Volunteering our time to an orphanage, giving to the needy, volunteering for our city to make our community better. Those are the things we need to be worrying about.

Who cares how much time a random person spends in the gym or tans and if a celebrity is pregnant or not.

Lets focus on how to BE THE CHANGE WE WANT TO SEE IN THE WORLD : )

I don't think she's as crazy as she plays herself on TV. There's more of a "normal" person under there than we realize. Probably very immature, but she'll grow up quick when baby comes... you have no choice.
They might be decent parents... but I am not sure THEY will last as a couple.

Having a friend in the production industry of reality tv I will say that they encourage behavior that will result in higher ratings and they edit accordingly as well....Does that mean that Snooki has not acted or done things that I am certain she will look back and cringe at...nope. I know that there are many personalities out there and I also know that life changes when you are responsible for a new baby. One thing seems to be somewhat true, the girl loves to smile and seems to adore her parents and close friends. I am sure that she will adore this child more than life itself and with the speculation of her being a poor parent, she may just wish to prove everyone wrong. We all have to grow up at some time and why not hope for the best. I look at Nicole Richie and am amazed at her parenting and her adult life...we all may have been thinking similarly about her. Anything is possible when the love of a child is introduced.

C. I like Snooki and I think she will be a great mom. She certainly has the money to raise a baby..and she is probably a great person. Never a boring moment...that's for sure. And as for worrying about making a change in the world....do what you gotta do....this was a question about Snooki. I'm sure talking about her won't buy your way into heaven...but maybe volunteering will. Poof!!!! Be gone!

Kind of an unfair question, don't ya think? Unless I am wrong, no one here knows Snooki personally and can't fairly or accurately judge her parenting ability. Also, I'm sure that a lot of people here partied their fair share and if judge on what people saw at a night club or a bar as a single person without kids wouldn't be deemed a good mother. I know if you saw me at 21 while I lived in Miami and was at world famous nightclubs every night in the VIP section you would look at me and say that I won't be a good mom. Remember about stones and glass houses, friends.
