I live in the Novi area & I'm looking for somewhere to drop my son off so I can go to the gym, anywhere from 3-5 days a week for about 2 hours...I'm skeptical on babysitters since the news always flashes things on bad babysitters....I'm at a loss as to what to do. Suggestions please :)

What can I do next?

I'd be interested in watching your son ...we now live in Brighton. I'm just not sure if we're to far from you? I'm 39 years old and have a lot of experience with children, both through my own (ages 11 & 8) and volunteering at school. Please let me know if you're interested.

All I can think is find a gym w/ a child care room.
Good luck, A. H

If you aren't looking to pay alot, Fitness 19 in Farmington is great, and they have a daycare. I take my son and he enjoys it....its very cost effective. It is in downtown Farmington off Farmington Rd. and Grand River.

Join the YMCA in Farmington or Milford, Lifetime in Commerce on M-5, or the novi sports club in NOvi. They all have on site childcare (some with Video monitors that watch the day care). Less worry and more easier if you are all going to one location. When you add up the cost it my be cheaper to join one of these because you don't have to pay a sitter.

Happy exercising :)
