We just planned our trip and we are staying at Royal palms condos. Any places you recommend a "must do" while we are there?

We enjoy going to Lamberts for dinner. Be prepared to wait. It is fun for the kids because the waiters throw the rolls across the restaurant to the customers. http://www.throwedrolls.com/
We also enjoy Lulu's. It is owned by Jimmy Buffetts sister.
They have a big outdoor sand area for the kids to play and it is right on the water.

Must do a dolphin cruise. We went and had a great time-I recommend going first thing in the morning with the kids. It's just easier I think. Check out the big shop on the left before you turn left or right on the beach blvd. Gret tee's and if you are looking for a swimsuite they definately have lots of them. Have fun-we had a blast! I would recommend taking as much food as you can-Walmart is crazy and usually cleaned out on the weekends since that is when everyone comes in.

When are you going? I used to live in Daphne AL, which is maybe 30 mins from Gulf Shores. There is Tanger Outlet Mall in Foley if you or your family like to shop. We also enjoyed going to Lamberts. I will talk to my fiance tomorrow to see what all is in the area.

Love Gulf Shores, so much to do and see...not sure if you have kids and their ages...things we have done and enjoy..
Blue Angel Practice (in Pensacola 45 minute drive), I believe this is on Tuesday a.m., arrive early if you want to sit in the stands...very impressive show, after the show we always go in and tour the museum...lots of old planes and exhibits...Dolphin Cruise, would sugggest doing early in the day...In town there are several things to do, The Little Zoo That Could (featured on Animal Planet), Water park and amusement center...To avoid crowds it is best to do dinner by 6:00...Ride the Ferry...Daulphin Island (sp?)...there are several forts in the area too. We ate in Orange Beach alot, liked Bubbas (great price on crab legs), can't remember name of restaurant on Wharf, it features crab racing every hour, kids loved this...I believe you can pick up a guide at any of the local stores. If you are coming in on the weekend, be prepared for traffic. Hope this helps, wish we were going this summer.
