Anyone know of a service to have groceries delivered? I know Albertson's used to have an on-line purchase program but I don't think they do anymore. I would love to save my time and gas money!

Thanks!

There are no grocery delivery services in DFW any more. Schwan's does deliver; however, everything is frozen. I use them and like it; but, it's not a grocery delivery service. Amazon.com only delivers non-pershible items in fairly large quantities. It's good for those items you use a lot and might save on buying in bulk. I miss the grocery home delivery service. It saved me time and money.

I think Schwann's delivers stuff to your house.

I use a place that delivers...not groceries (well some) but they deliver just about everything else.

Cleaning products, personal products (men, women and children), vitamins, laundry and dish products.

They are 100% guaranteed and I LOVE it!!

Give me a call or email me with your number and we can discuss!

Thanks,
T.

Amazon.com does groceries, but I'm not too sure if they deliver to DFW.

If anyone is looking for a grocery delivery service in Carrollton and the surrounding Dallas area, check out www.groceriescheck.com. They will shop and deliver groceries from any grocery store in the area for a reasonable price.

Schwanns delivers. Our elementary school had a fund raiser with them and they delivered to the school once a month and we would go pick up our orders.

My SIL in AL uses them for home delivery. We got some decent stuff from them. Not like going to the grocery. I mostly bought fun fast foods for kiddos and ice cream treats.

My SIL used the premade meat dishes and several things. She always said good things about them.

I know you can buy some items through Amazon.com. Also, Fresh Lane Stores (http://www.freshlanestores.com/Index.html) doesn't deliver, but does have drive-thru service so you can order online and just pick it up if they have a location near you.

I've never used either service, but know that Amazon has a discount if you make recurring orders and Fresh Lane advertises a 10% discount. I'm sure you'd have to check prices for what you need to see if it's cost effective or not. Hope this helps a little!!
