I vote you google it...here's a site with the benefits written in a succinct fashion:

Personally, I drink green tea every day, but I mix it in with my black tea in the morning. I only drink green tea straight while having sushi. Otherwise, I'm not fond of the flavor.

I just had a Dermatology check up and the Dermatologist was surprised at the condition of my skin, as I grew up in SoCalif using baby oil at the beach and then lived for several years in Phoenix, AZ. She was expecting all sorts of cantankerous and cancerous looking spots on me. She did not find even one suspicious freckle.

I would attribute my healthy skin to drinking green tea and not to my sun habits.

HTH!

These are the ones I know of:

General health: great antioxidants that may help the body correct the many assaults of life.

Sunburn treatment: patting strong green tea on sunburned areas reportedly helps stop/reverse the genetic damage to cells caused by the radiation.

Weight loss: for some people, green tea seems to boost the metabolism to make dieting more effective. (I can't tolerate the caffeine, though, and drink decaf tea. I'm not sure whether the metabolism boost is from the caffeine, so I could be losing that effect.)

Meditative practice: making time for a personal tea ceremony daily can help bring mindfulness and peace into a busy life.

Deliciousness: Enjoy!

It is a great antioxidant. When I personally drink green tea I feel more active, my skin looks more radiant, and it it great for my digestive system. You can drink it hot or cold. It is very inexpensive, give it a try!

Green tea is good for the blood, heart, and other organs. It's good for digestive issues and settling an upset stomach. It's good for the skin and it's detoxifying for the body. It blends nicely with other "super fruit" tea blends to help take off the edge of the grass flavor, although I quite like it plain with a little lemon and sugar.
