My 21-month-old son loves listening to CDs that are interactive. He can listen to the Carole Peterson CDs all day and never get tired of them. I'm hoping to find some new songs he loves just as much so I can have a change of music from time to time! Do you have suggestions that your kids love?
I second Joy's recommendation of Ralph's World- my kids are huge fans and also enjoy going to see him in concert, as he is a local Chicagoan- and a dad. We also love Jeanie B. and the Jellybeans, who are from Evanston, another local favorite. You can buy Ralph's songs individually on itunes if you need some new stuff right away!
We can't get enough Stinky Cake around our house. Ha, ha. We also like Susan Salidor, esp. Come and Make a Circle CD.
My kids still like listening to songs by a man named Ralph from Ralph's World. One of our favorite songs is Happy Lemons for Happy People. I suggest checking out CDs from the library. Then you can listen for yourself before you go out and buy the CD or before you pay to download it.
Oh... my kids used to listen to songs by Carole Peterson. Their preschool teacher liked playing her music. She's great! I agree.
