I have been trying to feel more grateful in my life for the things that I have and not worry about the things that I don't. Today I am grateful that I could see the sunrise while I took my oldest daughter to her early morning seminary class and that my eyes continue to work so that I can see the rest of the wonders of my world. What are you grateful for today?

What can I do next?

Today I am grateful for three healthy beautiful children.

My boss came in and told me about a family who lost thier first of three children to cystic fibrosis at age 13 and now their second child also with CF who is 16 is not expected to last the rest of the week. I can't imagine losing one child but 2 out of three...
Update....My boss sent me an email before lunch to let me know the 16 year old passed away this a.m. Can't wait to go home and kiss my kids.

Today, I am grateful for chemotherapy and medical advances that will treat my friend of 25 years for leukemia. She was diagnosed last week.

My mother lost a sister to leukemia at the age of 8. There was nothing they could "do" for her back then in the 1940/1950s.

I'm grateful for a loving husband (who still drives me nuts!!)
three children that have given me so much in life
two parents who still love each other and have been happily married for over 50 years - good times and bad!
A brother and a sister who I can laugh with
Our soldiers and troops who sacrifice daily for our freedoms
A roof over my head, food in my belly and clothes on my back
The friends I have - they have given me sooo much over the years...
God - for without Him nothing would be possible!!!
