Yay, I've finally joined the ranks of smart-phone users. What are your favorite apps? My kids are great with our electronics (my eight-year-old figured out how to use it before I did), what apps should I download for them?

What can I do next?

My Verizon guy says there is a great app called gotcha. If someone steals your phone or if you lose it, the app lets you track the exact gps coordinates.

Trusting fool! your kids will break the phone. :p Or not give it back if it is ringing.

I don't run a lot of apps because they gunk up the performance. I have an add blocker so this site doesn't drive me nuts. Other than that I have Sudoku and Angry Birds for times I am bored, oh and Kindle so I can read my books, again when bored.

Really I don't let my kids use my phone for their entertainment. They have their DSs and their iPods. The problem with letting them use my phone is it is my phone, ya know, to make calls with. No way I want to track my phone down to see which kid is using it.

Oh there is this sticky note one that is great for making grocery lists.

Amazon has a free app of the day every day, I've gotten Super Why for my son and he loves it!! If you don't have a zoom on your camera get pic2shop. It is a great app for scanning barcodes!! Gas Buddy, Blik Calendar widget is cool, Loose it if you are tracking diet and exercise, Weather bug, Ringroid will help you take MP3 into ringtones. Oh and Lookout mobile security is a have to have!!!
