I use Google, probably out of more habit than anything.
Honestly if they are that hard up that they need to sell my search history go for it. Really it is not that interesting at all. :-)
For searches, I've always used Google, have tried Bing a little. Just curious, what do you all use & why? Since I read the previous post and see that they "sell" my search info..not so sure I want to use Google anymore! Not that my searches are that exciting, just seems like yet another invasion of privacy.

Google. Their algorithms are the ones that all the others try to copy.
Who gives a rip if they're selling your search information? They're not selling your personal information, they're trying to make what you want more accessable, and giving companies the opportunity to be seen. That's what advertising businesses do.
Google.
And as I read the other responses, I found myself nodding in agreement with Christy Lee and them laughing out loud with 1andDone!
We're pretty much a Google/Gmail/Chrome/Android household. We used Linux operating systems for years, it was an easy transition. I even have a Chromebook.
google, but my husband has bing on his smartphone and honestly, it's pretty dan good. i just find new systems too hard to learn unless they're WAY better, and i don't think there's that much to choose from when it comes to search engines.
they all use your info. it's how they stay in business. unless you want to pay for your searches, it's just not worth getting upset over.

Google, but I don't log in to a Google account. All the search providers datamine your searches (ever notice how you search for something and magically, ads for what you looked for start showing up on pages like this?) but what I find particularly creepy about Google is how they also datamine gmail accounts for content to also target ads to users. I know that even without logging into my Google account they're aggregating info to my IP address but that seems a little more acceptable to me than having a profile of my actual name, phone number, and contacts that is aggregating my search info.
All that said...they are simply the best at finding what I'm looking for so I use it anyway...
Bing. I love seeing their new photo for the day, but the main reason is that my sister is way up there at Microsoft.
Bing sells your info too so if that is your only reason to change don't bother.
I prefer the connectivity I get with Google and Chrome.
I like how I recently searched stretch classes for my daughter who is in figure skating and watched a few youtube's on stretch and suddenly began to receive ads on health, weight exercise. They didn't use the most slim and trim ads, they must have tried to guess my weight.
I use Google first and when I don't find what I need, I start using other search engines.
I use both but prefer Bing. I seem to get more targeted results while Google seems to give more general. Also, I get points by using Bing and can use them toward rewards.
I use Swagbucks. I figure they're all going to sell my info at some point so why not at least get paid for it? It is certainly not the best search engine but it works for what I'm doing.
If I need a broader search, I go for Google.
Bing just drives me bonkers.
Duck Duck Go is the most private search engine.
I switched to Bing from Google, it just seems to work better... You get closer to what you're searching for.
