I am trying to find good quality but not super expensive, i know you get what you pay for, solid color tees. I wear them all wear round and am tired of getting just a few months out of them before they start to stretch out and look super frumpy. I wear a 2x but I do not know if i am buying the wrong size or if its the shirts it self. I always get mine from old navy so I am trying to find something that is solid color but wont cost over 15 for 1 shirt thats in a 2x that has multipul colors. I can not find ANYHTING

What can I do next?

Try Womanwithin. com they have great stuff that lasts. Especially bigger girl stuff. It lasts great and wears well. I wash and dry all mine and they are still holding shape and looking good and I am on my second year wearing the shirts I bought.

I buy from The Gap and Victoria's Secret when they have sales. I always layer my T-shirts and tank tops, and I get to wear mine for years.

I dont know about short sleeve, but I've been buying long sleeve layering tees at Target. I paid 12 for one and it lasted me all winter with no sign of wearing out.

Shop in the mens department! Seriously! I've been buying t-shirts in the mens department for years! Of course, you may be limited on colors depending on where you go, but they're usually made better than the womens but cheaper. Go figure!!

Good luck!!

Do you have a Sears/Land's End in your area? Land's End is known for their quality. Their t-shirts are 20.00 but if you buy 3, you get 15.00 off which makes them 15.00/shirt. They have several colors. If you need to order online, you can usually search for a free shipping code to enter off a site called retailmenot.com.

For even cheaper prices and excellent quality, go to LLBean.com and check out the women's SALE section, you can get a t-shirt for $10-$15. I've had a few for years and they still look great.

I bought a handful of solid color shirts from Kohls 2 years ago, that are still in really good shape. The key for me was to not dry them.

Well, at under $15, you're going to be hard pressed to find anything other than Old Navy and the like. You could check at Costco. They actually had a bunch of solid colored Ts there just the other day and the most expensive I think was $15. You could try Gap, which is higher quality than ON. Do you have an outlet mall near you? I would check out some of the designer stores that might have discount prices. Good luck though, finding the right clothes can be a challenge!! ;)

You get what you pay for... I buy shirts like what you are describing at J. Crew or Gap, only. They are the only ones that last for 3 years or more! Just don't dry in the dryer and you will be happy at the quality, trust me. I am very picky about shirts and I got tired of buying new ones every spring, since that basically makes you spend more than buying more expensive ones upfront but not replacing them for a few years. J. Crew especially has some awesome, bright colors that are very fashionable right now on their shelves. Check it out!
