I have rosacea and use a cream to help treat this. My question to you ladies that have rosacea, what kind of good facial moisturizer have you found? My skin tends to be oily in the day time. Any good suggestions? People with rosacea need to stay away from certain items found in common facial lotions so many oils are out...Thanks in advance!

What can I do next?

Salma Hayek has a skin care at cvs, the ingredients are from her gransmother's garden recipes. I have a sensitive skin, the face cream comes with high SPF factor and it's so inexpensive. http://www.cvs.com/CVSApp/promoContent/promoLandingTempla...

Hi C..
I have rosacea too-- it's really mild now, in fact I can almost NOT use my finacea! I still use it around my chin and nose where I have vessels more prominent in the skin surface.
On an aside, I know you can also do laser.......I haven't looked into that.

One of the things I found by surprise, was my Herbalife stuff-- I used the nutritional shakes and for other reasons became a wellness coach with them. By surprise, I realized my rosacea was getting less.
I was REALLY hesitant to use anything but cetaphil- which was my cleanser and moisturizer of choice at the time. It's cheap and it's good and it's otc at any major store.
As I aged though-- and got signs of that, I decided as long as I got products discounted, I'd give Herbalife's skin care line a whirl knowing I had a back up that worked.
It was a good choice. I had no breakouts, I actually go between the 2 lines- both have antioxidants like the other gal mentioned, vitamins and 15 uva/uvb sun protectant, and the anti-aging product line has glucosamine so I actually had fine lines diminish too.
Anyway-- I hope they have the line forever. My 10 yo twins already use it.

If you have time, take a look-- or email me for more information. I do give momsource promos and it's $ back guarantee too. The site is thinkslim.org

Keep looking until you find the right one. We northerners have fair skin that the elements are tough on. It's worth finding the right one for you.

Hello ~
You may want to try the Neostrata line. They make several products specific to rosacea. I don't have that, but I just started using several Neostrata products a week ago, and my face has never looked better!

I know you have to stay away from anything with Vit. C in it. Good luck!

I have rosacea and acne prone skin! I am in love with the Olay night resurfacing serum, my skin is so smooth and it doesn't irritate my skin at all. During the day I use DCF skin renewal complex w/20 SPF. I'm not sure what your budget is, but the Olay is a good price and lasts a long time and the other is $55 for a bottle that lasts a couple months...not bad.

Jojoba oil is great for the skin.

I also use Coconut oil or in the winter Raw shea butter for overnight.

My suggestion is actually an antioxidant. Try OPC3. It will help with the rosacea a ton. Then you might find that the skin care need is a little different.
